My name is Mariana Leite. I'm Portuguese and currently enrolled in Aveiro University, finishing my Masters in Management. I've been living in Aveiro for all of my life and as soon as I started traveling I just got addicted to it!

I have stayed 6 months abroad in Germany and traveled a lot from there, being my first solo travel. I have met people all over the world and I have always been fond of getting to know new people and learn from them. This has led me to join Erasmus Student Network Aveiro, where I can better help people feel welcome in my city and know they have a community here they can rely on.

I love meeting new people and learning new languages. So I would always be up to chat!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that it's an easy way to connect people with the same goal: meet others and learn more about new cultures. Most times we normally don't get this sort of experience.

I also think that staying with hosts is always the best way to get to know a city and its hidden gems.
