Currently I'm living in my van and it's a really small space so I can't host anyone. Hope you will all find a great place to stay!

Hello!
My name is Kristel and I live in Zwolle. A few years ago a dream developed in my head. I wanted to convert a van and live in it and travel the world. Since then I've been doing research about it and saving up money.
And then the corona crisis came. It was the perfect timing for me. I couldn't work because of the lockdown so I bought a van and spent three months converting it. When it was possible to work again the van was completely livable. So that's where I'm living now. (Also in Zwolle still)
It's really amazing to see a dream become reality. I can't describe in words how happy I am.

I'm really passionate about building. Especially festival decor. I've been working for a few festivals now. Welcome to the village festival, Zwolle unlimited and The Living Village Festival.
The last one is the most important one for me because I've been working there the three editions that it happend. The people I met there feel like family and they really let me do my thing. The first year I got to build the main gate, the second year I got to build the great mystery stage and the last year I got to build the main gate again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm ALWAYS excited about meeting new people and I also love to help people out. That is why I'm on couch surfing. I also love traveling but right now I'm busy with saving up money. What I CAN do is meeting people who are traveling. I'd love to hear all of your stories and I would love to tell you mine if you want to hear them.
I also love to make connections. When I can travel again maybe we can meet up at your place!
Next to that I'm interested in other cultures. Different habits. I think it's interesting to share those. Finally, I'd love to share knowledge and learn from each other. Even though we have nothing in common, there is always something we can learn form each other.
And I would love to show you the city and explore new places I haven't found yet.
