If you’re planning to explore Hanoi and looking for a meaningful volunteering experience — welcome to English Homestay Vietnam! 🌿

We are an educational homestay project where Vietnamese students and international guests live, learn, and grow together under one roof. Our mission is to create an immersive English-speaking environment while building real cultural connections between locals and travelers from around the world.

🏡 Location
We’re located in Trâu Quỳ, Gia Lâm, a friendly student district just outside Hanoi city center. It’s peaceful, local, and full of charm — yet only about 30–40 minutes away from the Old Quarter by bus or motorbike. Around us, you’ll find street food, coffee shops, parks, and daily Vietnamese life at its most authentic.

👫 Volunteering Experience
Volunteers help our students improve their English communication through:
• Conversational practice (Free talk sessions)
• Cultural exchange activities
• Group discussions or games in English
• Occasional sharing about your country and experiences

⏰ Working Schedule:
15 hours/week, 6 days (Monday–Saturday evenings).
Sundays are your free days to rest or explore Hanoi.

🏠 Accommodation:
You’ll stay directly at the homestay with our local students — separate male and female dorms, shared bathrooms (with hot water), Wi-Fi, a common kitchen, and laundry facilities. Pillows, blankets, and basic living essentials are all provided.

🍚 Meals & Benefits:
• Stay less than 30 days: free accommodation + Wi-Fi.
• Stay more than 30 days: free accommodation + 2 local meal per day.

Here, you’ll not only have a place to sleep, but a family to share meals, laughter, and unforgettable moments with. Our students truly value the time they get to learn, talk, and connect with volunteers from around the world.

I hang out and host a lot of couch surfers, introduce to them about Hanoi, Vietnam and everything in this world... Then I help them to arrange many things in Vietnam with cheapest price but perfect quality...!!!
