In 2007 I moved to St. Maarten to work in the public library. After 3 years I started working as school librarian at a secondary school. Besides my job I study part time at the University of West Indies. I follow there online the study MLIS (Masters of Library and Information Science. I love reading, riding my motor bike and my cat Dushi. I also volunteer by the foundation Les Fruits de Mer. Here I help with the building of a Museum Naturalis in the Old House Museum.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couch surfing because I have a chance to do an 6 week internship in New York city for my masters in Library and Information Science. For this I need a place to stay . The internship will be from July 23 - August 31 2018.
I also like meeting new people and will be happy to show different sides of the island St. Maarten to people visiting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love different kind of TV series from NCIS to IZombie to Downton Abby to Death in Paradise. Books too many to mention but mostly fiction. One of my favorite books is Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.
