关于我

Currently living at Angers!

I love cooking, traveling and making new friends more than any other things. I believe that since we live in a world in which many conflicts arise every day, we might as-well try to enjoy our lives, learn as much as we can and never stop amusing ourselves each day.

Easy! I want to meet other people that let me learn new things and maybe allow me to see the world through their own perspective. Like reading, I think is possible to live multiple lives when we meet others.

I come from a very rich country few people actually know the good stuff (not only tacos and sombreros), I love sharing my culture and my gastronomy, but also changing a little bit if I can that negative perspective some may have of us Mexicans and why not, encourage others to have fun at my México lindo!

音乐、电影和书籍

Tough question since I listen to almost everything, one day I'm in the mood of some great french rap and the next day I might be listening to Sir Elton John haha

I love action movies and those ones based on real-life stories, sometimes I feel courageous enough to watch a horror movie.

Favorite book...? Maybe I could say it's Rayuela but there are too many books awaiting, that I would rather not choose one ;)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I lost my train back to Delhi from Agra after visiting the Taj Mahal, so I somehow manage to get into another train. For those who are not aware of this particular Indian procedure that might seem simple, but it's a little more complicated than just buying a new ride at a box office.

I had to fool a police officer to let me into first class and then hide several times at different train cars, watching my offline Google Maps app for not missing my stop, since no one tells you where you're going. I almost froze in the middle of the night because the last train cars without surveillance are let's say... not that nice, but at made it. Great experience, a little scary thanks to some unpleasant gentlemen, but I made it back to my hotel.

教,学,和分享

I love learning new languages, they allow you to access to new cultures in a much deeper way than just visiting around, so I also enjoy teaching a little bit of español whenever it's possible.

But the thing I love the most is teaching about something that speaks louder to me than any other, and that's cooking! I've learned different types of cuisines through my very blessed culinary journey, either working on diverse restaurants or living with foreign students. I read a lot, I'm passionate about food in every aspect, I even want to do profesional journalism one day. I love sharing what I have learned and how I was tough to respect and be proud of my gastronomic roots. I feel grateful of learning about others' discoveries and others' roots.
