About Me

Hi! I'm a Colombian biology student who decided to take a break from it all for a year... and somehow I ended up living in Germany and making volunteer social service. I' m what you could say that fits in a "nerd" description. A bio-hippie-hugger-dancer nerd, if that's not too much to say.
I love cooking, plants and animals, languages, and learning (beyond books as well). And somehow that works pretty well with the part of me that enjoy dancing, meeting new people and traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said before... I love learning. And I consider that the best way to do it is by finding different points of view along your way. I'm a great listener, and if you allow me... also a great story teller.

So... long story short: I would like to know the cultur of the places that I visit from the people who somehow builts their lifes in them. Also, I would like to make friends along my road :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is like Pandora's box, going from really calm rock in spanish to Marilyn Manson, passing by Michael Jackson and new bands like Annenmaykantereit. So I'm pretty much a music mess.

With movies I'm pretty much a newbie, so... I'm up to receive recommendations :)

My favorite book is "Ensayo sobre la ceguera", from José Saramago (I read it in spanish), I found it so hillarious... I also like police novels, I grew up with the Harry Potter saga (it's a part of me) and I'm pretty much obsessed with Stephen King.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved out from living my hole life in a city to the country side in the matter of a month or so. One day I just didn't have my house half street away from the bus stop, grocery shop and friends, but instead I had three dogs, three cats and three cows. Best decision I could ever make. I love it out there, with the stars at night, the total silence and the (not so) beautiful garden,

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help out with this sort of "farm" issues (your pets, and house plants) with all the love of my heart.
Also, if you want to know about Latin America from different perspectives, I'm the right person. (Or if you wanna learn how to order a Cerveza in spanish)
And of course, I'm a biology nerd, so that's a point where I can always talk happily about.

I would love learning from the cotidianity of the cities. Their everyday wonders. And yes, why not, their clichles as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation, cooking, and gardening are my strong points. But I'm also up to go dancing, walking or just sitting to enjoy a sunset (I'm like Momo, a great listener).
I'm a quiet company but I can also make a good conversation.
