Here in a school of life to learn how to truly love without trying to fall into traps of fame, power, and manipulation. I’m currently studying at the Cooper Union School of Art in NYC. I would love someday to get to the point when I see that I’ve helped around and was a part of something bigger than me. That’s why I express myself through painting, photography, poetry, writing, and music. For the same reason I am practicing in a Gaudiya Vaisnava tradition to be able to truly purify my consciousness and offer my life to others.

I am interested in sustainability and serving Earth- I would like to cause as little harm to what is living as possible. Still a long way to go for me but I’m trying. Attempting to thread lightly and have small negative impact.

I don’t want to judge anyone even though it is a tendency of the False Ego. I can only do my best at recognizing my lower tendencies and attempt to purify them. I want you to feel comfortable being you. If you have a question- ask respectfully.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I trust that community is a true sustenance and that we can only thrive in connection to others. This is my attempt to do it. I also want to move away from material exchanges a little bit more. It is not to fall into a trap of hating money, but to actually be more indebted to other for their kindness.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to listen to sounds of the world- actually tuning into what vibrations surround me. Also kirtan (devotional music).

I read a book a week so there's a lot to say! Recently I have felt in love with Tony Morrison and have read Sula, The Bluest Eye, Song of Solomon. I think that the book which changed my life would definitely be One Flew Over The Cocoos Nest.

I don’t watch movies often. It's hard for me to sit for two hours in one place. Having said that, Chantal Akerman, Hito Steryl, Sky Hopinka are one of my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent nearly 2 weeks with no money living in a forest in a community of like minded people. I didn’t have a place to sleep and nothing to eat. I shared my presence with people and we took care of each other. I will not forget the feeling of being so whole and coming back to myself after being so lost & confused internally.

I also walked for 10 days in the mountains close to Czech Republic. I was physically sick, my feet were blistered to the limit, my tendon injured. I kept walking. And overcame over 220 km during 9 days of walk (1 day for transport). Never felt stronger.
