About Me

I recently swapped the Eiffel Tower vibe for the unexpected charms of Beauvais for work (yeah, the big switcheroo you would say and I agree), and now I'm about to - but not yet though - be packing my bags to head back to City of Lights, you guessed it, once again for work. I guess you could say I'm commuting in style ! And apparently, my career can't decide where it wants to live either!

☀️FYI regarding this summer info :
Breaking News ! These days, I'm stopping over in Asnières-sur-Seine to jump in the Paris 2024 Olympics vibes. If you're looking for a place to put your sleeping bags (and don't mind sharing a cozy studio), I've got a little space for one or two (It would be safer for me if I can read the profile info for each person). On the agenda: sports, good humor, and probably a bit of gymnastics to fit everything into the apartment!🕶️

As a french hodophile, I consider myself a globe-trotting earthling with a strong sense of wanderlust. I absolutely agree with this quote: “Borders I have never seen one. But I have heard they exist in the minds of some people.” ― Thor Heyerdahl. Though I’m still in my early days of exploring, the world is my oyster, and I'm trying to sway in the winds from here and elsewhere!
I’m drawn to anything that involves exploration—be it wandering, cooking and food adventures, learning languages (always looking to improve my English and uncover sociolinguistic gems), history,, indoor (watching tennis matches, music session, etc.) or outdoor activities as I'm always up for a drink on a terrace or a bike ride around town even when I can't host you whether it's for some organisational purpose or something else.
Somehow, I’m here to meet lively folks, dive into living roots, cultures and traditions, and have immersive learning adventures.
As I try to be environmentally conscious in my food and textile consumption and lean towards a minimalist, uncluttered lifestyle, I feel always ready to discover alternative projects, experiences, and ways of thinking/living.

❌ Hey folks, FYI :
Given the flood of requests I can get, I unfortunately fail at replying to them all within the expected timeframe. But hey fellas, keep in mind that if your request comes with a side of sharing and contributions, I'd be thrilled! If you’re not up for pitching in, whether it’s with grocery runs or cooking, and you’re just hunting for a free place to crash, a cheap roof over your head, let’s not waste each other’s time. I swear I’m not running a charity hotel here yet, and I say that with a smile (but seriously^^),
This whole platform setup thrives on participation and goodwill, you see, the whole voluntary and participatory vibe is what keeps this concept alive, and let's face it.
It's a shame to have to spell it out, but some people just don’t get it unless it’s in neon lights :p.
On a lighter note, I’ve got a non-convertible sofa (think of it as suitable for sprawling across three seats) in the living room, and if there’s more than one of you, you might want to bring a sleeping bag.
Hopefully, you read this before hitting "send". Either way, I try to respond whenever I can.❌

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Few years ago, I moved to Senegal to be closer to my then-life best friend. Dakar is one of the most cosmopolitan human crossroads I've been experiencing from the inside.
If you're ever in the area, be sure to visit the mythical and iconic island of gorée if you have to quickly choose between the country's many islands and archipelagos. You can also follow in the footsteps of the famous researcher Cheikh Anta Diop whose name is still very much alive in people's memories out there

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Benin, Côte d'Ivoire, France, Germany, Ghana, Netherlands, Nigeria, Senegal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Togo
