20 year-old from Portugal, currently living in Wales. I'm on my second year at uni studying Medical Sciences in hopes of one day becoming a Doctor. Music and football are the two things I could never live without and nothing makes me happier than going to a concert or see a match a the stadium. I also enjoy reading a good book and going to the movies. I love traveling and I'm always looking for somewhere new to go and new people to meet!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I feel like traveling is much more than just going places and the best part of it is definitely interacting with the locals, and couchsurfing really is the best way to do it. I love meeting people from different backgrounds and getting to know all about their life experiences and reality, which is probably the main reason why I decided to go to uni in a different country, so that I could get a new perspective of things.

Música, películas y libros

I literally listen to every music genre in every possible language as I am a bit obsessed with Eurovision. Some of my favourite artists are Imagine Dragons, Bastille, Nothing but Thieves, Taylor Swift, Nirvana, George Ezra and Catfish and the Bottlemen.

As for movies, I absolutely love Tarantino and Pulp Fiction is probably my all time fave. Pearl Harbor, Grease, Baby Driver, Star Wars, La La Land, Atonement and Good Will Hunting are some of my faves. Also, it's not a movie but I am completely obsessed with Game of Thrones and I could go hours and hours explaining my theory of why Daenerys is actually the villain.

I used to read a lot more when I was younger, I would always carry a book with me everywhere. If I had to pick a favourite I would probably go for The Book Thief.

I'm aware that there are loads of people in the same situation and it might not be that impressive but I moved to a different country all myself at the age of 18 and I'm actually quite proud of that.
