Music, Movies, and Books
My musical taste is very diverse, the only genres I really don't enjoy are Metal and Schlager (basically, German pop with a very cringey twist). I especially enjoy Indie, Rap and Techno. In case you want to find some fire music, here are my Spotify playlists:
Indie/Alternative: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0WCBfn87fDlclRUZ6TTQAh
Techno/House: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3Ur1wdubbscQZPfkKsyHdn
Rap/RnB: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0jlFDyrYJMWTMlGvKu5WQ5
I'm a bit of a movie fan, but I don't really find time to commit to it a bit more. My favorite movie is "The Big Short". Besides that I also really enjoy old James Bond movies and documentaries. I do watch a lot of Netflix and Amazon Prime as well.
When it comes to books I'm very open minded, unfortunately I don't get to read as many books as I want atm because of my studies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Partied with a dude wearing a wedding dress at a festival. He fell asleep in the wavebreaker during a Linkin Park set (RIP Chester). I partied on till 6 am with random people I met. I continued to walk back home to my tent on the camping site but I had to cross a river and my fellow campers were already asleep. Before, we used to throw our phones and stuff over to our mates and then swam across the river so that nothing gets destroyed.
To this day I don't know how I managed to do it but I got across the river with my phone and my shoes still being dry upon arrival. I think I defied physics.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm pretty good at tennis and worked as a children's coach for some summers. I also was a snowboarding instructor for two seasons and I worked as a postman and a social worker for my civil service. This summer I'm doing some shifts as a forklift driver at a local manufacturing company.
So, I can teach you how to play tennis, how to snowboard, how to do a burnout in a forklift and give life advice - if thats not enough reason to consider hosting me I don't know what is :D
I'm also always down to learn new stuff - especially interested in finally learning to play piano or other instruments since I never got the opportunity to do that before.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cultural exchange, fun experiences, awesome memories and in the best case: friendship :)
Also I'm doing a project, for which I take a book with me. When I'm travelling I ask people to answer 5 questions about them and how they experience life and write them down in there. It should be like a compass to how people around the globe experience and memorize their life in their country.
