Hey! I'm Anıl, 25 years old and currently living in Gaziantep, Turkey. I work as a digital media consultant for a South American company.

I'm outgoing and I adapt quickly to new environments. This will be my very first time traveling abroad, and I'm beyond excited to meet locals, experience everyday life in new cities, and build real connections through Couchsurfing.

Fun fact: I used to be a bartender, so I can shake up a great cocktail for you 🍸 And a few years ago, I traveled all around Turkey by hitchhiking, meeting tons of amazing people along the way. I'm hoping to continue this spirit of adventure wherever I go.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : I usually listen to tunes that speak to the soul — melodies with fewer lyrics but strong, emotional rhythms. Music that doesn't just play, but touches.
My favorite band is Orange Blossom, but my all-time favorite track is "Hobbi Lak", which comes from another artist. I’m drawn to world fusion, ambient, and traditional sounds mixed with modern beats — anything that makes you feel something without saying too much.

Movie : I'm into psychological thrillers, clever action films, and inspiring stories. I love Mr. Robot, Fight Club, Iron Man, and The Pursuit of Happyness — stories that either mess with your mind or lift your spirit. Also, I'm a big fan of actors like Robert Downey Jr., Edward Norton, Nejat İşler... and of course, Turkey's comedy genius Cem Yılmaz! If he's in it, I'm watching it.

📚 Books
I’m not a heavy reader, but I enjoy browsing through books on history and psychology — just enough to spark thought and curiosity.
My favorite historical figure is Hannibal Barca, a brilliant strategist who fascinates me. And when it comes to the mind, I’ve always found Freud’s theories intriguing. His way of looking at human nature really grabs my attention.
