I am 24 and from Latvia, just finished my Master degree studies in International business so I am looking to spend the summer of 2018 abroad, exploring new places and experiencing new adventures. Hope to meet new people from all over and have the time of my life. I speak Latvian, English, and some Spanish, Russian and French. Currently planing a trip in June to Spain for a friends wedding and looking for amazing hosts to travel around Spain a bit more, since its my favorite place to be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am traveling to Spain with a friend of mine as we have been invited to a wedding. Since I just finished my Master degree studies, that I had to finance myself, money is kinda tight at the moment. So my friend introduced me to couch-surfing, she has always had great experiences with the people she has staid with, so I thought I give it a try. I see this as a great opportunity to find accommodations and meet new people while traveling on a budget.

Music, Movies, and Books

There is so art out there, so in a lot of ways I enjoy all types of genres, from horror to drama, and from rock, to smooth jazz, indie and alternative. I wish I had time for books, outside of the academic literature, I suppose I haven't read a book out of pure interest since high school and that was like 6 years ago :D

That is very difficult, but if I have to name something I guess...education, not sure how useful it will actually be in the future so...

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: maybe some Latvian, just for fun :D
Learn: hopefully a lot, especially languages, I love perfecting and learning languages
Share: thoughts, memories, positive vibes and experiences

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hopefully great memories, perhaps even a friendship and if you ever come to my country I would love to show you around, I mean my place is in a very far countryside so for a traveler really not an advantageous geographical location, but never the less it always helps to have a friend who is a local.
