About Me
Currently studying computer science and economics in a small liberal arts college in the US. I can (and will) really geek out about Economics. I like traveling, seeing new places, and meeting new people a lot, and I have been able to do a fair bit of that so far. I attended an international school with over hundred nationalities represented, and I learned a lot from being able to share perspectives and swapping stories with people from such diverse backgrounds. Although I no longer attend there, I hope to be able to continue meeting people from different backgrounds and places in the future. Every place I have been and every person I have met changed my universe in a way, and I hope to continue doing that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend made me couchsurf on a trip we were together on, and it was the best part of my trip. I got to meet people whom I would never have met, see places and perspectives I would have heard of, and experienced things I would never have experienced if it were not for couchsurfers.
I moved from a very diverse school to a small town in the US, and I had a reverse-culture shock, where the lack of diversity in opinions and people made me miss meeting people from different places. Couchsurfing is one way to keep meeting new interesting peple.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hugged a yak in Ladakh, India. It might not sound like much, but it took me 5 days of driving on the highest highway in the world to find a yak to hug.
