Hi, I'm Chen Jun Da. I'm from a beautiful island called Taiwan. I'm major in the Department of Aerospace and Systems Engineering at University. I hope that I can be an aircraft designer in the future.
I like to accept a challenge, although there are a lot of obstacles in front of me. Therefore, I think going aboard for traveling is a good way to challenge myself and make me realize who I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In last summer vacation, I had a special trip in my lifetime. During the trip, I didn't have any plan. I just wanted to go out from my internship. Therefore, I decided to follow my heart and I went to a place where I had never been. I always remembered what happened at that time. I joined an activity in the small mountain village. It is beautiful. And then, I unexpectedly discovered an old bookstore it's rebuilt the local building. And I was deeply attracted. When I stepped into the door, I saw a woman sitting alone and reading a book behead a big table. We saw each other many times, so I thought I should chat with her. In the beginning, I said, "May I sit here?" nervously because this was my first time to do this and she said "Yeah... " with a smile on her face. After that, We had a great conversation. Finally, she invited me to stay at her house. It was made me so happy that I didn't know how to appreciate her help because I didn't plan any hotel to stay at that night.
Above all, is the reason why I'm on CouchSurfing. Although I came to a strange place alone, I met someone at hazard. Then we shared something with each other and became friends at last. It not only make each trip unique and unforgettable but also make me eager to explore the world again.

I can share with a lot of things about Taiwan such as people, food, culture, history, education...and so on. I love my country even if it is not recognized as a country in the world nowadays, I would tell everyone who I met that I've come from Taiwan.
