Hello, potential friend. As my profile says, my name is Michelle and my home is Slovakia, has been for the last 26 years. :) I am (finally!) finishing my master's degree in few months, so I am a soon-to-be young professional, looking for a job in public administration. My life is somewhat simple now - studying, working, spending time with my family and friends, and traveling from time to time.

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

To be honest, for me, using Couchsurfing was initially for saving money while traveling. However, money is not the only thing I ended up with. I was super lucky and met beautiful people and made some life lasting memories - some of which I still think about to this day. Without Couchsurfing, I would not have that.

I live quite an active lifestyle - I go to the gym, run, hike (would like to hike more than I do!!). All this in order to stay active and healthy for as long as possible.
In my free time I play board games with my boyfriend - it has become our thing - I am a pain in the ass in the beginning until I learn all the rules, but then I enjoy it. I also love food and cooking - especially while traveling I like to eat a lot. I like to try local meals and visit well-reviewed restaurants in the area. During summer I love to got to festivals, camping with friends, have grill nights and spend time outdoors - swimming in the lakes, walking, biking, even gardening - would love to have a big garden one day and grow fruits and vegetables.

One interesting thing about me - I always loved being around animals and I am currently obsessed with city pigeons - these amazing creatures don´t deserve the treatment they get. My dream is to have a pigeon sanctuary one day and improve their reputation in my country.

My liked songs on Spotify are completely random - something from almost every genre. Movie choice is also random, but I like movies (and books) based on true stories and events. I also like true crime podcasts and books. Once I had a phase were I was watching and reading movies and books with drug theme - don´t ask me why - but I loved the Wir kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo book - visited the Zoo station in Berlin this year, haha.
