Hey there, I'm Anton! I'm an outgoing guy who's about to start an Erasmus exchange semester in Berlin as a part of my computer science master. I enjoy making new friends who I can grab a beer with, or going to concerts or festivals in the summertime. I'm also a vegetarian who loves good food, strong black coffee, biking and going running in nearby parks.

I also like having some downtime in between things, and my laid-back hobbies include watching movies, reading (mostly fiction but also history books) and playing the piano/guitar.

Music, Movies, and Books

Indie/alternative music in general is very close to my heart, particularly Radiohead, the Microphones, LCD Soundsystem and Arcade Fire (I cried when I saw them last year but nobody noticed in the pouring rain).

As for movies, please make sure to watch Parasite, a Korean comedy/thriller/tragedy about a poor family gradually infiltrating a wealthy house under false pretences. Best movie this year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got interviewed on Swedish radio last week... maybe not an amazing experience but it was fun and unexpected. Talked about linear regression and lost a news contest on-air. Afterwards I got to punch a sandbag to relieve the stress.
