About Us ;) :

We are two young Belgian Travelers (Maarten and Maarti, this is no joke) from the beautiful small city of Ghent. We met each other during our Masters in History. It took another couple of years but finally we found each other.

After working for a while we decided that this was not the thing we wanted to do while we are young. So Maarten quit his job and Maarti took indefinite unpaid leave to follow our dreams and start traveling.
Thanks to Maarti's dad we learned about the beautiful van life. After traveling through Europe we thought it was time to go on a bigger adventure.

We decided to go from Canada as far south as we can and see what the road brings us. Hopefully without any car troubles, because we both have two left hands. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We will be a lot of times on the road and in the wilderness, but we also like to meet new people and experience the local culture. And is there any better way to meet interesting, travel loving people than through CS?
