About Me

Hello !
I'm actually travelling for a month in Brazil, with my fiancée (and a friend ! Witold Wroblewski -- he is on CS !) ; we are travellers for years and years (for different reasons : I'm here to discover this amazing country that i've heard of a lot in french litterature, my fiancée is there for holidays (she needs it !) (and my friend lives here in Rio and Florianopolis for more than 3 months now)
I'm passionate of langages, especially the ones i don't know -- Brazilian portuguese, with its soft and smooth accent, is fascinating. I use to "speak" portuguese with a Mozambican woman, who imitates very well the accents, and the Brazilian one is spelling and gently : i love it !

I read a lot, especially poetry and short novels ; i write some, sometimes. But the more i like is sharing -- and i think that cooking and playing music and dancing (althought i'm not so good at it, but it makes me feel good) are some of the best ways to do. I'm always learning something -- so, whatever you do, i'll be interesting in, and i would love to help you !

I like outdoors, wind, nature, the sea, running, and biking (i use to have plenty of bikes in France, and i actually have a fixie) ; i'm actually learning to surf.

I've been in India at 19 (that was harsch), i traveled through Europe at 18, i was in Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador few years ago, and, last year, i spent two months in Kirgizstan. I'm always hitch-hiking in France because i love my country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well... the main reason, at the beginning, was that CS is the best way to learn how to cook with locals and make others some good plates, and drink some local cocktails ; but now, seeing how CS is amazing, i'm on it because it is incredible how such a global community is agree to host and be hosted by others ! It's kind of a dream of the new technologies: connecting people around the world and bind links !

In Spanish Poetry, Juarroz ; Spanish Novel, Cien anos de Soledad (obviously !) ; Spanish "philosophy", Juan de la Cruz. In English Poetry, Lowry ; English Novel, Kerouac ; English philosophy, Crawford.

I use to listen to jazz when i'm alone, but house music with others ! (and good house music, generally, i hope !)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been in India at 19 without money. That was funny. (I survived)

Teach, Learn, Share

Cooking french meals, drawing, talking litterature ; i love dancing but i'm the worst dancer in the world; alas...
We can speak whatever langage you want, i'll always do my best to understand and learn it !
I'm actually learning to surf !

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can go outside, discover the city or around, talking --with or without beers !--, go to a movie, to the beach, dancing, seeing the world, clubbing, whatever, if we do it by the heart !
I'd love to make you dinner and lunch and even the breakfast (if it's not at 5 a.m., please dear) !
