My real name's Alessio but you can call me Alek. I'm a singer/songwriter/videomaker from southern Italy.
I'm passionate about music, sports photography and travelling.
I'm also a student in Economy & Management @University of Salerno.
I'm a very sociable and easy-going person. I've been an active member of the APG (Assosiation for the Promotion of the Youth -'G' stands for 'Giovani' in italian) based in Salerno, which gave me possibility to travel around Europe and take part to the 'Youth In Action' Programme.
I have visited many countries around Europe and made some friends along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first "couch" was in Prague when a dear friend of mine met during one of my trips around Europe invited me to stay at her apartment. After meeting her friends and spending the night,I promised myself that I would return the favor to anyone who would ever wanted to come to Italy and visit around a little bit! :)

In 2018 I went on a road trip through the U.S.A. I went all the way from Springfield,MA and stayed few days at a host place in L.A. once arrived in California.
If it wasn't for CS I couldn't make it! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: As a producer, I listen to every kind of music that can inspire me. I'm a huge fan of bands like The 1975, Biffy Clyro, 30 Seconds To Mars, Linkin Park but also I love to listen to pop music. The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, Maroon 5, Ellie Goulding, Halsey are only some of my favourite artists.

BOOKS: I'm a huge fan of the Japanese culture and a Haruki Murakami's novels. I love reading classics but I mostly prefer modern novels. Also I'm very passionate about musician's biography and about the ancient Egypt and all the things that have a bit of mistery in it.

FILM: I'm desperate for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I collect everything from posters to action figures.
I love thrillers, horror and action movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once performed in a huge square in Pompeii, in front of 3.000 people.
I lived in Milan and probably that was the best time of my life. I went to my favourite bands' concerts.
Became friend with a person who then became a X-Factor star before he was famous and did love to a lot of gorgeous girls around the world (does that count too?)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play guitar, sing, produce music and video. I can do some graphic design and I can help you build your online persona or brand. I can cook and teach you to cook a great carbonara!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a very easy going person, I do not smoke (though I have no problem hanging around those who do smoke) and I'm very tidy in my things, especially while I'm not at my place. I like hanging out for a beer or hit the club, though.
I can be a very good listener and I have plenty of stories to tell! :)
