About Me

Traveler, adventurist, biker, skier, friend.
CURRENT MISSION - Gather knowledge, skills and experiences. Create awesome stuff. Stay healthy.
Favorite quotes:
"Predict the future by creating it"
"Learn something about everything and everything about something"
"I'd rather be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in war"

At 20 years old, I've traveled to 10 countries from Europe to Central America. I speak a some Spanish (still learning) from practicing in Spain, Costa Rica and Cuba. All three trips were wonderful. Last summer I studied abroad and lived in Florence, Italy for six weeks. In Europe I learned how to travel independently and with my peers. I was working and going to school in the winter/spring, then in May I quit my job to focus on traveling, writing, reading and enjoying my life.

The past summer I did trips to New Hampshire, Ireland, Maine, Washington DC, Vermont and Florida.
I hope to continue to travel and host travelers in Connecticut.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the concept of couchsurfing and the sharing economy because I enjoy traveling, connecting with good people and not wasting money. I want to hang out with locals and hopefully put smiles on their faces.

I found couchsurfing while looking for a place to stay in Maine but there were no hostels or AirBnB's available. I remember my uncle telling me that he does couchsurfing so I checked out the website and here I am.
