I'm on Couchsurfing for the same reason as you, I need places to stay whilst I'm budget traveling, as well as I want to meet new people, learn about other cultures and listen to other languages (even if I have no idea what you are saying). I havn't done many amazing things, besides traveled to Europe with my older sister in 2015, as well as moving to Sydney from a small country farm in Victoria.
