About Me

Im a 19 year old guy trying to figure out what life is about. I took a gap year after highschool and went to Berlin to learn german but mostly to live what has been a wonderful experience meeting new people and new, incredible places.
I like wandering, trying new things (specially new food :D), meeting people, playing (cards, board games, videogames, pretty much anything),pets, languages, and of course, travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ive been in Germany for around 6 months without getting to know other amazing places in different countries. So I will take the whole month of July to travel as much as I can. Ive heard couchsurfing is a great way to do it if you also want to meet people and make new friends. I would also like hosting when Im back home or even have some people that I met traveling come visit me!

Music, Movies, and Books

I always have a hard time pciking favorites. Id say The Neighbourhood is my favorite band. Im not too picky when it comes to movies, I like action, comedies and sci-fi the most. My favorite tv shows are Friends, The Big Bang Theory, How I met our Mother and The Blacklist, I really like comedies. I want to starting reading but I never really got that habit altho I tried, I usually prefer playing videogames, watching Netflix or hanging out with friends on my spare time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is a little depressing that Ive stared at my screen for easily 5 minutes and I couldnt think of anything incredible I have done. I mean, I could say having travelled so much or knowing more than 2 languages but I dont feel like that has merit, since I was just lucky to be able to do those things and Im so thankful for that.
I guess moving to Berlin, knowing no one and now having made a lot of friends and gotten to know amazing places in the site, thats pretty awesome. I also once deflected a crayon heading to my face with the palm of my hand like a ninja, that was actually very cool.

Teach, Learn, Share

I feel like you can learn something from anyone but at the same time I dont know what people can learn from me.
I think theres no one specific thing someone can learn from another person, but instead everyone can learn something different from any person based on each indivudual´s experiences and perspective.
At this point in my life, I like learning mostly about life itself. What should I care about? What is the point of doing things? Is there even a point? What should I stive for? and so on.
Right now I think life is about being happy and doing things you enjoy and I love sharing that happiness and joy with the people around me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Damn, I wish I knew how to cook! I could prepare some mexican food if there were ingredients.
Hmmm, list of things I can offer:
-A friendly face that smiles a lot
-Someone to play with (Boardgames, cards, Ping Pong, you name it)
-Happiness through empathy, if thats a thing
-A friend
