About Me
My name is Julie and I just finished High School in Germany.
I plan on going to uni next year to study Language and Communication studies.
Instead of completing year ten at my school at home, I decided to go to England for a year. It was then that I started to discover my love for travelling and cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I consider myself really lucky to have had the opportunity to stay with a host family when I lived in England. Otherwise I would have maybe never found out about sunday roast!! No but in all seriousness, what better way is there to completely dive into a culture than to share a home with someone that is a part of it?
Interests
I'm curious and ready to talk about anything your heart desires.
In my free time I play volleyball and I like to throw random dance parties, especially while cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste is all over the place. I'd be happy to watch any film or read any book as long as it isn't horror haha
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After school I grabbed my friend Lara and we went on an Interrail Trip around Easter and Southern Europe. It was really spontaneous and sometimes quite chaotic but we saw so many cool places and fell in love with so many countries... However, this trip also made me realise that most of the time, you remember a place by the people you met there.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a little recipe book that I've started to bring along on my travels. So on the one hand I will force you to write in it but on the other hand I have a few recepies from different cultures with me and I'm always willing to cook. Also, I laugh at my own jokes so you don't have to.
