About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to figure out life as an adult. Whatever that means.
ABOUT ME
I'll try to describe myself through three situation you could find me in at any time:
In the first one you see me cooking for a bunch of colourful, laughing people. We're having a cosy little dinner that escalated so that twenty people are now trying to find space in our kitchen.
The second one shows me and my flatmate sitting on our balcony, philosophing about why we stand up in the morning and the reason we do what we do. We haven't found the reason yet. But we're still laughing about life.
The third one is me dancing in a crowd to some beautiful techno tunes, smiling randomly at anyone who seems to be sharing my enthusiasm for the moment or just happens to be in my view.
I know this is not a very good description of me as a person but maybe you have an image in your head now so that you can find out whether it's accurate.
PHILOSOPHY
I think everyone has their individual point of view on reality that is made up by our means of perception and the way we learnt to deal with it. This means that even though we live next to each other we might be living in entirely different realities and I'm always keen to learn about how other people's reality is made up. (Can you sense that I study Neuroscience?)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling for me is all about getting to know different kinds of people and finding new ways of living. Places don't get interesting mainly because of what they are but because of the people I meet there.

Music, Movies, and Books
Any place with music is a place I love. Myself completely ungifted in either playing instruments or singing, I won't care to dance along anyways - and if you're really unlucky even sing.
Reading is the form of travelling I use in times when I don't have the time or the money to actually leave the place I'm at.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once finished an entire pack of Tim Tams on my own. I still don't believe it myself. And I also don't know if that's anything to be proud of...
