About Me

I am a 24-year-old girl from the picturesque province of Long An, Vietnam, embody a unique blend of cultural richness, intellectual curiosity, and a deep-rooted passion for exploration and connection. Nestled amidst the serene beauty of paddy fields, my upbringing in a non-touristic region has instilled in me a profound appreciation for simplicity, community, and the beauty of the natural world.

My journey has taken me far beyond the tranquil landscapes of my hometown. Fueled by a thirst for knowledge and a relentless drive for personal growth, I embarked on a transformative academic adventure to Europe, supported by prestigious scholarships. Over the course of a year, I traversed the diverse landscapes of 20 European countries, immersing myself in the myriad cultures, languages, and traditions that make up the rich tapestry of the continent.

However, my experiences in Europe were not confined to sightseeing and academic pursuits alone. With an open heart and a spirit of hospitality, I welcomed travelers into my apartment in both Austria and Spain, fostering meaningful connections and facilitating cultural exchange. Through these interactions, I not only shared the warmth and generosity of Vietnamese hospitality but also gained invaluable insights into the lives and perspectives of people from around the world.

At the core of my identity lies a profound love for writing and a desire to effect meaningful change in the world. Whether through my insightful prose or my actions in my community, I strive to create a positive impact and inspire others to do the same. My experiences as a member of Couchsurfing since the age of 18 attest to me commitment to fostering mutual understanding and connection across borders.

Raised in a farmer family, I embody the values of hard work, resilience, and a strong sense of duty towards others. My upbringing has endowed me with a strong work ethic and a willingness to lend a helping hand, whether it be in tending to the land or assisting with household chores. My practical skills and down-to-earth nature make me a reliable and indispensable ally in any endeavor.

For me, the joy of life lies in the simple pleasures of shared experiences, meaningful conversations, and culinary delights. With my expertise in Vietnamese cuisine, I delight in sharing the flavors of my homeland with others, inviting them to savor the rich tapestry of tastes and aromas that characterize Vietnamese cooking. Whether it's cooking a traditional feast, embarking on a picnic adventure, or simply sharing stories over a cup of tea, my presence brings warmth, laughter, and a sense of camaraderie to any gathering.

In my world, hospitality knows no boundaries, and friendship transcends cultural differences. If given the opportunity to host me, you can expect not only a delightful culinary journey but also a rich tapestry of experiences, insights, and laughter. With me by your side, every moment becomes an adventure, every encounter a cherished memory. And as a token of gratitude, I bring with me the gift of friendship, a treasure more precious than any material offering.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I possess a warm heart that I always want to help people; those travellers like me ☺ If I am free to show you around, I've shown travellers around in Ho Chi Minh city in my freetime.
I also want to share experiences with those solo travellers. I am studying Korean and English...so if there are any English, Korean native speakers who have a warm heart to help me study their languages, I am thankful for that 💗
I usually travel on budget⚘ I prefer cheap street food and I am easy-going in picking foods. I am nature lover and of course I spend most of my time travelling to those places that their nature are breath-taking 🚘 I am also representative of my country to some international conferences as youth!

Interests

🎀
I am a nature lover please guide me to natural sightseeing, I don't mind hiking or trekking or climbing mountains 😻
I am so stubborn, anywhere I decide to go on that day, I never change my mind to go there despite weather, obstacles,...
I definitely love water sports, and adventures 😄
I am quite open-minding, friendly, social. I never bother others if they don't want to connect with me. I lived in Ho Chi Minh city in a dormitory with 5 other friends and the dormitory security guards don't allow strangers to enter, so I can't host anyone. I am travelling Asia

I have hosted some people who are Vietnamese and they do not use Couchsurfing, they are my real friends in my life. My home town (where my parents live now) is 30 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh city and it's a non-tourist place, so I received no request to host travellers too. In the future, if I come back Vietnam, I really want to have my own flat and host travellers to contribute to CS community 😍 I definitely love hostimg people but conditions didn't allow me in the past.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really appreciate my host that they can give me the best place to stay. I don't require much, just need a small clean place to stay, a couch, a hammock, a single bed, or a mattress on the floor in the living room, ect...
If my host has time to show me around, I would be happy to receive your hospitablity, but I also love walking alone, not to bother my host🎈
