About Me

Hi,
I'm a kind and open-minded recent high school graduate who loves to get out and explore the world!
My armor for unseen skies, foreign faces, and yet unknown languages lead me to spend a year abroad in the US with the ppp/cbyx program in 2015/16. Having met amazing people from all over the world and learned about many different cultures and religions, I now see my life as a never-ending exchange, constantly searching for new adventures.
This summer I was very lucky to receive an interrail ticket through the discovereu initiative which gives me the opportunity to travel to Prague, Budapest, Belgrade, Vienna, and other spontaneously chosen destinations (if I'm also lucky enough to find accommodation in these cities ;)

Interests

Some of my life goals are to become the oldest gymnast in the world (the current record holder is 93!), own a Great Dane, run a marathon, and go on a bike tour around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lindsey Stirling and Martin Garrix are my favorite musicians.
Harry Potter, Le Petit Prince, and the Power of Now are all-time favorite books.
But I am pretty open to any kind of music, book, or movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My two brothers and I tried to cycle to Brussels in one day - but stranded in Eindhoven, Netherlands after twenty hours due to an unfixable flat-tire...
Oh yes, and going abroad for a year at 15.

What I Can Share with Hosts

You are opening your home to me - one of the biggest acts of kindness there are, so I find everything I came up with in return kind of minimalistic, but here we go:
If we get into a deeper conversation, I will definitely be sharing my enthusiasm for the things I love with you.
If you ever want to travel to my city, I will definitely show you around! (hosting depends on the living situation I'll have during college)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, United States
