About Me

I'm an easygoing, curious person. I love reading, swimming, hiking, drinking coffee, eating, cooking, meeting new people, and having new experiences. I'm up to pretty much anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in Couchsurfing because I consider that to actually know a place, there's no one better to show it to you than a local, and do the cultural exchange.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
Rayuela, Julio Cortázar.
The unbearable lightness of being, Milan Kundera.
Ficciones, J. L. Borges.
Un soplo de vida, Clarice Lispector.
For whom the bell tolls, E. Hemingway.
El juego del ángel. Carlos Ruiz-Zafón.

I read a lot, and I love latin american literature. I also love to get to know what kind of books people read, and thus getting to know more about other cultures.

Movies:
Goodfellas, Big Hero 6, Interstellar, Star Wars (All of them), Rust and Bone, Pulp Fiction.

Music:

I'm into a lot of stuff. I like alternative, rock, rap, trap, reggaeton, ranchero, banda.
As in concrete artists, I would say: Alt-J, Gorillaz, Arctic Monkeys, Glass Animals, Kendrick Lamar, J-Cole, etc. etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once crossed a wide water channel by swim in San Blas, México. I nearly drowned because I got stung by an 'Aguamala', a local jellyfish. Still, I made it and felt like an olympic swimmer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've travelled across all of Mexico during my lifetime. I could tell you a thousand tips and places you need to visit if you are planning a trip over there. I love to share food and drink, listening to stories, and I also can provide some of my own.
