Overview
About Me
hello, my name is Charlene Jin (金孝容). here are a few things about me:
· 21-year old female.
· undergraduate student of economics at UC Berkeley.
· born and raised in Taiwan (ROC).
· daydreamer.
· i cannot host male persons in my home because it is a female-only household. there will be no exceptions to this rule.
· as a heterosexual female, there is a high chance that i will turn down requests to hang out from males. i am committed to an exclusive romantic relationship and will avoid any encounters that disrespects my boyfriend. nonetheless, i still very much enjoy making new friends with males who take genuine interest in my personality and human character — not my feminine gender.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
· make new friends.
· explore new worlds.
· go wandering for a year because—just for once in my life—i want to have neither purpose nor direction.
***apologies, i won't be able to host recently because i'm away from home up till mid-October.***

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
· lasted 14 days without taking a bath.
· stayed silent and patiently waited for my boyfriend to stop eating animals — all by his own volition.
· climbed to the top of the tallest mountain in Taiwan.
· held onto the understanding that fairies do exist in nature.
· was the first person in my exam group to get a camp fire started when i was testing for my third-level girl scout badge. the fire starter i made was so beautifully carved that the examiners took a photograph of it for future reference. (ahh, all the things i used to know how to do back when i was 15 years old...missed those days.)
What I Can Share with Hosts
i can do household chores, cook Californian food, cook Chinese food, do English-Chinese translation, discuss Chinese language and culture, discuss economics.
