Hi!
My name is Brina and I'm a theatre maker, playwright and critic from Slovenia, studying in Prague. There's always at least one book in my bag and one too many on my bookshelves. I love going to independant cinemas, attend vernissages or get lost in a museum. Finding cool vegan places is always one of my goals when I'm travelling while avoiding drinking beer and surviving without coffee, since I don't like the taste of either of those. I do enjoy a glass of white wine, board games and analog photograhy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share plenty of stories, anacdotes and fun facts about Slovenia and make you a really good non-Slovenian vegan meal, since Slovenian cusine honestly isn't either distinctive or refined. But I can teach you how to pronounce some very inventive Slovenian curse words:

risto kosmatih (medvedov) – Three hundred furries (bears)!
Pojdi se solit – Go salt yourself!
Bog te nima rad – God doesn't love you!
Naj te koklja brcne – May the hen kicks you!
Naj te vrag pocitra – May the devil takes you!
