Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to meet people while traveling and we want to experience real places and real people.
When younger I (Pernilla) hitchhiked quite some around Sweden and Europe and although there was no such thing as couchsurfing, thanks to friends and friends acquaintances I always managed to find places to stay. But so much easier it would have been if couchsurfing had existed!

Interests

When I'm not at sea I spend quality time with my son, tend to my many, (many!) house plants and grow vegetables in a community garden. My son Kayan is a genius videogame player and a superhero connoisseur.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We lived in Thailand for around 12 years. Best days of our lives, character building, fun and boy, do we miss the climate!
