We are a family with a five-year old kid girl from Kyiv, Ukraine.
We are trying to teach our kid speak several languages from early childhood. We routinely speak Ukrainian and English at home and the kid also learns German and Mandarin.
My husband is fluent in English. He also understands and speaks basic German.
We are no smokers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are looking forward to a several weeks stay with a native German family who has a child of comparable age in order to have an environment where our kid could start speaking German.

BOOKS. Ukrainian literature, but now mostly reading English books for kids.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Languages (our kid is Ukrainian and English native, so if you have a kid of comparable age then communication with friends is the best way to learn a language.) We can also give some more formal lessons for bigger kids or grownups.
We like cooking, mostly some Ukrainian and European cuisine.
We will e happy to teach kids or grownups rollerskating. Or kids driving a bike without stabilizers :-)
We know many nice kid games.
