Hi everyone! My name is Vadym, and I'm a producer \ filmmaker from Ukraine. Last one and a half years I lived in Portugal but moved to Warsaw where I'm going to spend my next year. In Kyiv, I used to study software engineering but realized that it's not my cup of tea and started filming. I really enjoy making videos and practice a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before moving to Poland, I've traveled a lot with my ex-partner who introduced hitchhiking and couchsurfing to me. While we were living in Lisbon, we were constantly hosting guests - mostly via her profile though. I enjoyed meeting other couchsurfers so right now I'm starting my own story with CS.

I like listening to rock 🤘 My favourite bands are Linkin Park, System of Down, Slipknot, Ария. I also try to watch movies in original so that I can improve my level of English.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited Chernobyl Exclusion Zone more than 10 times; saw abandoned soviet Buran shuttles on Baikonur Cosmodrome. Drove Kyiv-Lisbon nonstop alone with a cat.

I can teach you Ukrainian language, tell you stories about my adventures, and go with you on rooftops!
