Sobre mí

Hey guys! I’m Anna and I grew up in a little village near by Berlin. Me and my five siblings loved to live on a farm and also have all the advantages of a big city at the same time. For me, it is a perfect, peaceful place. But I also always wanted to get to know the world. So I decided to do an exchange year in Ecuador at the age of 15. It was such an interesting experience to learn a new language, get to know a totally different culture and lots of new people. In Ecuador, I found a new home and I’m always happy to come back! After graduating, I moved to Bonn (a little beautiful city; always worth a trip ;) ) to work as a nurse. Afterwards, I got the opportunity to move to Hungary for studies. I lived there for almost 4 years and loved the kindness and warmth of the people. Also the architecture and landscape is incredible beautiful. In the meantime, I took every free weekend and holidays to travel as much as I can. In 2018 I’ve been to Thailand and I wanna go baaack! 2019 if traveled to Israel and Palästina. It was the most interesting and impressive trip I’ve ever did. I learned so much about religion, tradition, history, nature, culture, food, hospitality, music, lifestyle, people…- and so much more. It was also the first wall I crossed. Born in east Germany (few years after the fall of the Berlin Wall), it was really special and emotional for me.
In times of pandemic, I travelled around Europe and found out so many beautiful places and met lots of fun, crazy and lovely people.
Right now I am living and studying in Schwerin, a beautiful, little town in the north of Germany.

PS: Before, I used to travel with friends and we always used their account to find a Host. This time I’m travelling alone for my first time and I’m so excited for it!
That’s why my account hasn’t been upgraded for a long time…

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

For me, Couchsurfing is the best way to immerse yourself in a new culture. Thanks to my hosts, I was allowed to see many beautiful and hidden places . Moreover, I got to know different ways of practicing religions, so many styles of living, loving and laughing.

I’m so happy of all the experience I’ve had thanks to Couchsurfing.

I am also happy to host you in Schwerin and get to know people from all over the world!

Música, películas y libros

Hard to talk about my favourite songs, there are just too many good songs out there. But here are some of the songs I love to listen to at the moment:

Die Toten Hosen - Wannsee
Jim Croce - Time in a Bottle
BHZ - Flasche Luft
Cat Stevens - Wild World
Seeed - Lass Sie Gehn

Algo increíble que he hecho

In a small kibbutz, close to Jerusalem: Sitting around the campfire in the garden of my new Hippie-Friend, eating Israeli Food, learning Yiddish and singing good old songs while the neighbour plays the guitar.
The next day: crossing the wall, having a totally different atmosphere, getting to know some wonderful Palestinian, who show us around Bethlehem, introduce us to their favourite songs, grab delicious food and talk about their country, their problems and their hopes, sitting in a nice bar and watching the sunset.
