About Me
Hello everyone,
This is Buğra from Turkey. I am very enthusiastic about travelling, visiting remote places, get to know new people and have new friends all over the world. I like to communicate and have different experiences. To be honest, I am not the guy sitting on the couch in front of the screen and playing video games or watching TV series. I like to be on action. I pay attention to my daily yoga and meditation practices in order to enhance my awareness and openness to experience.
I am native Turkish, fluent English, proficient French and acceptable German speaker. For the last 4 years I had been working as a Project manager before I quit job to have a gap year in order to travel around the World.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This year is my gap year in order to travel around the World. I have to do it with a tight budget – thanks to Turkish Economy - and my aim is to travel and meditate as much as I can. I can teach you meditating with pleasure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well I have to think about it and refresh this part in my bio.
Nevertheless I was in a Buddhist Monastery for 12 days in Nepal. It was an amazing experience to spend time with nuns and monks. We started days at 5:30 am and went to main Gompa for Puja or to Lama Zopa Rinpoche's room to bowl offering. I felt relief and done my offering for the day.
In October 2018 we were in Annapurna Region for a trekking to Annapurna Base Camp. It was my first trekking experience so that I am still excited to walk over 3500 m.
We were stucked in Koh Phangan during a typhoon near the beach and turned this situation to an opportunity to party with DJ
I volunteered in Thabarwa Center near from Yangon, Myammar and did physio, patience care and pagoda run for elder and sick people.
I meet very interesting and inspiring people all around the world which helps me to become a better version of myself.
I had no talent in playing instruments but I bought myself a harmonica to play during traveling
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach being mindful and stay in present time with small exercises. I am open to learn local culture, local cuisine, different languages. I like to share everything I know because experience grows by sharing
What I Can Share with Hosts
I share Bill Clinton posters.
