关于我
I was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, but I spent most of my early childhood in in California. When I was eight, I moved to Massachusetts with my family and, a year and a half later, we came to Poland. Because of that, I speak English almost fluently, but I also found it hard to decide what to write in the "Where I grew up" section.
I am really into art, both traditional and digital. I used to play computer games a lot, however, since my laptop broke down a month ago, I haven't had too many opportunities to game. I also enjoy long walks in forests, writing stories, as well as archery.
People say that I'm kind and helpful, however, I also have a tendency to act childish from time to time, especially once I start feeling comfortable around a specific person.
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
To be honest, I don't have too many friends in real life, so I joined this site in hopes of meeting new, interesting people. I've also decided to go abroad without any adults supervising me, and, in my opinion, in order to truly understand a different culture, one has to interact with locals, go out with them and sleep in their flat, because that is the only way for one to truly learn about the upsides and downsides of their everyday life, instead of just the most well-known facts about their city or country that every tourist can get to know.

音乐、电影和书籍
I like every kind of music, but my favorite type is definitely classical. As for my favorite books, those are: The Hunger Games, ASOIaF series, Harry Potter, and "Ice" by Jacek Dukaj, mostly because of the well-written characters in these stories. My favorite movies are "Arrival", "Zootopia" and "Forrest Gump".
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
Three years ago, me. my two friends and one of their mothers went on a trip to the Sudetes. While we were hiking down a mountain, a storm striked, with rain so heavy, we could barely see anything. We tried to get to a town nearby, however, because we tried to take a shortcut through the forest, we got lost. To make things even worse, it was getting dark and the batteries in my friends' smartphones died and I didn't bring a cell phone with me. My friend's mother's phone still had some power left, however, it didn't have any range. Because of that, I decided to solve the problem in a different way: I found a small cliff, under which there were some dry pine twigs. Using half of my sketchbook, tissues, all of the matches in the survival tin that I always carry with me and most of the sticks, I managed to light a giant campfire by which my friends cuddled to keep warm. They sat on a trash bag that I cut open, because they didn't want to take off their coats, ate every piece of food we had left (we ate most of it at noon, once we got climbed the mountain), as well as some huckleberries I picked. After three or four hours, my friend's mom's phone managed to get some range back, allowing her to call for help. Because it was nearly completely dark by that time, we were easily found and rescued thanks to the giant campfire that I lit. After this incident, I caught an awful cold for a week, probably because I walked around the damp forest looking for branches to add to the campfire (at first, alone, but after an hour, one of my friends joined me) and huckleberries, instead of sitting by the flames. In spite of that, though, I'm glad that my survival kit and skills came in handy that day.
