I’ve started using the Couchsurfing app a few years back when I was backpacking through South America. I have stayed with only 6 hosts during my 8 months long trip; however, I was using the “hangouts” feature pretty much in every city I had visited. I have made some nice new connections, I’ve lived many stories still to be told, I’ve laughed so hard, I’ve drank a lot of beers, and I have even made one or two actual friendships, all because of this app. The Couchsurfers showed me and taught me so much about themselves and the world and I feel like they have changed the way I travel forever. Therefore, I figured it’s my time to finally give back to the community and start hosting as well. I consider myself adventurous, open-minded and easy going, as my profile suggests.
