Hi! We're Kasia Makarowicz and Kacper Lepionka, students of University of Warsaw. We are completely new on Couchsurfing and are really excited about it! We love travels, adventures, meet new people, talking and cooking together! Always trying to learn new things from them and share good experiences. Our favourite way of travelling is hitchhiking.

Kasia: I study indology and philosophy. I am passionate about singing, I have been participating in Alla Polacca choir for almost ten years, which is one of the most important parts of my life. I found there true friendship, community spirit and development of a voice. Besides, I love skiing and reading some good poetry.
In the nearly future I would like to come back to India - country we both keen to explore.

Kacper: I study history and indology and I'm interested particularly in ancient Greece. During a travel I like spending time in museums with works I admire the most, from Italian quattrocento. Also I really like hiking, especially in Tatra mountains, and play football from time to time.

As we said, travels are our passion. And for us the best part of travelling is sharing our time and stories with people we have met. We can always exchange our experiences and for example learn from you how to prepare your favourite dish - and we will teach you some words in hindi! Travelling is all about learning good things.

音乐、电影和书籍

I think we can both say we like big-band music like Pink Martini and also jazz in general (check out polish people of jazz, they are amazing - Tomasz Stańko, Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski, Krzysztof Komeda, Urszula Dudziak). Plus music from medieval ages makes us feel pretty good. Also we do like niche bands like Ibeyi, Devendra Banhart or Nouvelle vague.

Kasia: In literature I'm most passionate about polish poetry, but lately, to my surprise, I'm immersed in long novels as "The Idiot" by Dostoyevsky, "Vanity Fair" by Thackeray or "Solfatara" by Maciej Hen. Regarding movies - I like feminist ones, with strong female characters.

Kacper: I can agree with everything above! Also I read biographies, memoires and letters.

We both love books by Italo Calvino!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

We have participated in Divali - ceremony of lights in Delhi, India, with a family of our friend. We have lit candles, visited shrine, met neighbours and observed fireworks. It was really amazing.
