I'm a 20 years old student of geography on Masaryk university in Brno. I live in a village Určice near the town Prostějov, just in the heart of Moravia - eastern part of the Czech Republic. My interests include especially music, nature and sport. I enjoy playing saxophone, clarinet and a bit of guitar, too. During my occasional travels I like to not to plan a lot, just step out of my door and let myself drive by an unpredictable sequence of events and get to know the place we are living in at least a bit better by seeing something more than my backyard and meeting people with different views and with different background. I'm not a big fan of consumptional tourism. I rather ride my bike or hitchhike to get somewhere. After all, it doesn't really matter where I get, but what I experience on the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up to Couchsurfing, because I'd like to meet new people from various places and spend at least some of the nights during my trips with a roof over my head.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a wide variety of music genres from classical music, jazz and folk to funky, reggae and rock. What I don't like is a majority of todays popular music, but even there some good songs can be found.
I am not a big movie lover, but some of the movies I like are for example Intouchables or Gran Torino. I really enjoy animated movies :) From my favourite series I can name Big Bang Theory, Black Mirror or Vikings.
My favourite authors are John Steinbeck, George Orwell, Milan Kundera and Karel Čapek.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode by bike from Czech republic to Georgia in flip-flops.
