Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To share and learn. We love meeting people on our trip, learning about how they live, their customs, their food, their dances. Sharing cultures is what motivates us to do Couchsurfing. Beyond the beautiful landscapes is the experience that we take from each place and CS helps us to have a more authentic experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
- Music:
I love always discovering new music. From each place I visit, I make a playlist to listen to and remember my days in each country/city. I love live music and dancing salsa, samba, caribbean rhythms, african rhythms, brazillian funk, listening to bossa nova. Some artists I like:
Jorja Smith, Fatoumata Diawara, Blick Bassy, Manu Chao, Parcels, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, The Kooks, Olaya Sound System. Chico Trujillo, The Children of the Sun, Caribefunk. And many more!
- Movies and Books:
I love watching movies that show different cultures. Thrillers, Sci-Fic. I accept any recommendation. I can recommend:
Charlies Country, Druk, Wiñaypacha, Parasite and Series: This is Us, Moon Knight, Hannibal, Luther.
Any recommendation is welcome, I really like fiction but also spirituality, animal researches, travel, time travel, etc. I can recommend these that are my favorites:
Beyond words, Our Wild Calling, Tiny Beautiful Things, Beautiful Boy And of course el maestro Stephen King for a good thriller.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed many mountains in the beautiful Andes.
Climbed the three active volcanoes in Guatemala. We camped on Acatenango and saw it erupt with lava explosions
We've built vegetable gardens. We worked with an specialist in gardening in reduced spaces and learnt how to build them. It was such an enriching experience.
We volunteered looking after animals in a Farm Animals Rescue Center in Murcia Spain.
I’ve been involved in charity campaigns for kids in some of the poorest areas of Peru, helping raise money for cleft lip surgeries. I’ve also joined Christmas drives to bring food and gifts to people in need or without a home.
Worked as a photographer during Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. The vibe was incredible!
Took a motorbike trip through Vietnam’s incredible mountains for a few days.
Dived in the Philippines with sardines and snorkeled in some of the most beautiful, healthy corals I’ve ever seen.
Teach, Learn, Share
- Cook traditional food from my country or travels and share. We love cooking and sharing with our helpxexchangers and couchsurfers.
- Dance Salsa, Samba and Afro rythms. I love dancing and would love to share the experience.
- Teach some phrases in spanish, portuguese or quechua (incan indigenous language)
- And I would love learning everything, horticulture, surfing, sparefishing, diving, etc.
