About Me
Hey there! I’m Oguzhan, an adventurous and open-minded traveler who loves exploring new cultures and meeting people from all walks of life. I’m passionate about making meaningful connections and believe that every person has a unique story to share.
I enjoy traveling, cycling, hiking, camping, reading and photography, I’m always excited to learn something new wherever I go. When I’m not traveling, I love spending time with friends, diving into a good book, or planning my next adventure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe that travel is more meaningful when it’s about connecting with people and experiencing cultures firsthand. For me, it’s not just about visiting new places but also about meeting locals, sharing stories, and creating memories together. Couchsurfing provides a unique opportunity to step outside the usual tourist experience and gain a deeper understanding of the places I visit through the eyes of those who live there.
I also love the idea of offering my own home as a place where others can experience my culture and city in an authentic way. It’s a beautiful exchange where we can teach, learn, and share our worldviews, making every trip more than just a journey but a personal connection.

Music, Movies, and Books
I prefer listening to pagan folk, folk metal, and classical music, but I’m open to any genre as long as it sounds good to me.
While I don’t watch too many films.
I have a deep love for literature, especially classic and fantasy novels. I’m a huge fan of both The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter series, as they’ve always captured my imagination with their rich worlds and unforgettable characters.
I believe in the power of stories, whether told through music or books, to transport us to new realms and inspire us in unexpected ways.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I’ve done was traveling solo across the entire Balkans with nothing but a small backpack. It was an adventure that taught me the beauty of simplicity and independence. From the stunning coastlines of Croatia to the vibrant streets of Belgrade, each country had its own unique charm, and I loved immersing myself in the local cultures.
Traveling light allowed me the freedom to move spontaneously, and navigating new cities on my own gave me a deep sense of confidence and self-reliance. It was an unforgettable journey that showed me how little you truly need to experience the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe that life is a continuous cycle of teaching, learning, and sharing. Everyone has something valuable to teach, whether it’s a skill, a story, or a different perspective on the world. I love sharing my knowledge and experiences with others, whether it’s about the books I read, the music I enjoy, or the places I’ve traveled.
