Aside from a semester in China, I have lived my whole life in New England. I'm looking to change that. I've always wanted to be well traveled and admired people who were, but I have never had the money to travel the way others told me I was 'supposed' to. So I'm branching out a little.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Lhasa, Tibet during a festival in memory of a lama who had died recently, so our presence coincided with that of thousands of pilgrims from all over Tibet. The last morning that we were there, I woke up early to go for a walk in the city, and ended up drawn into the pilgrims' circumambulations around Jokang square.
