I am a Dutch actor currently cycling to Asia for my project www.6letters.com.
I am delivering letters around the world by bike to show how connected we all are.
This is the reason that I cannot host anyone at the moment. I have hosted a lot though, mainly through Warmshowers (https://www.warmshowers.org/user/219624)
I love mutual hospitality as a great way to learn new people and places. I think the world would be a better place, knowing that there is always a friend awaiting you with an open heart and a safe space to sleep. This should be everyone's right at any time. Let's open our doors and hearts!
I have dedicated the past couple of months of my life to encountering strangers, trying to understand other perspectives. I think it gives life great meaning and depth and we should all try to change perspective every once in a while.
Again, this would make the world a better place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet people with different perspectives. I don't like the typical tourist perspective on countries, but I like to get more on the inside and would like to offer the same perspective to people visiting my home. I also like the idea of sharing places so that traveling isn't expensive, but enjoyable and more authentic.
