***
One amazing thing I've done was my luzviminda adventure for a month last August 2018. I met many kind people from different paths of life.
Had a tattoo from a hundred and one year old lady who is a tribal tattoo artist in Kalinga. Almost didn't sleep in a parish at Basilan due to a suicede bomb warning that night I got from the locals. (Going to Basiln was not planned. ) Enjoyed the sun and views from topload ride above the jeep truck for about four hours through cliff roads in mountan region of Kalinga. (Rockslides and landslides were along the road.) Saw the stunning topography in Batanes, the northernmost province of Philippines. (Hitch hiked on construction trucks in Batanes. The people were really kind. ) Had a mind -opening design seminar in cebu for 3 days. (And ate a lot in Cebu at the Mercado. Every night. ) Experienced the pink beach of Zamboanga. Swam in a pristine beach with clear blue waters that almost looked like a sea of gatorade factory in Basilan. (What an underrated beach. I still can say that it is safe in Basilan. A lot of military checkpoints. I always reminded myself to calculate my risks.) Immersed in the cultures of Tawi-Tawi, the southernmost province of the Philippines. (Went to two islands: the longest sandbar island in the Philippines and the island where the first mosque location in the Philippines can be found.) I received the best hospitality from my fellow Filipinos who hosted me. I'm thankful that I did that trip in a month
