About Me
Hi there! You can call me Nacho (short version of Ignacio and way easier for non-spanish speakers).
I am a musician, I play violin and piano, and I am passionate about music and culture. I love learning new tunes and instruments if I have the chance, if you want to see me happy as a child, let's play some music after a great meal surrounded by nice people.
I like good and bad cinema, there is always time to play some videogames together and I always carry with me some books and music to unwire.
See you around folks!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Something happens and you realise that you have been sitting comfortable for too long without caring nothing but steadiness. Lets bring some movement to this mind and body and put it on the way to anywhere...well, as a very wise person said to me once, no matter where you go, do not think you will get bored, there is always a temple to visit, a main square to chill and a bar to meet people, so there I go!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like every kind of music, I have a weakness with folk/swing/jazz music. 70's- 80's Rock&Roll is a must in my playlist. I have always time to listen to classical and even electronic music with taste.
About movies, I've to confess a complete lack of real interests, I devour movies and I like to appreciate both really good and bad movies. I can't really find time to watch TV/Netflix series, I try to catch up slowly with some classics "must-watch" like Breaking Bad, but I confess I watched "Lost" and "House" both when they came out....and I am a complete geek of both dramas.
Finally talking about books, I like books that take me with them wherever the story happens. Fantasy, crime novel, science-fiction, magic... but I guess 42 would be the answer to any question you could ask me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've flipped a bottel twice.....in a row! naah just kidding, it's quite a though question to answer.... I find music the most amazing thing in the world, so I guess playing music is an amazing quest :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a classical violin musician, I am specialised in contemporary music performance, and I am violin teacher in some academies and music schools. I love learning languages.
At present I am trying to learn folk and swing violin, I have started improvising even though I am still uncomfortable with these new styles and normally my head moves faster than my fingers in the violin :) but.... practice makes perfection... or so it said my granny!
I like to share my passion to music and teaching, playing with people is always funny!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my love to music, if I travel with a violin in my back I can always play some notes, but please, musicians are not music jukeboxes, we can not play every single song in the world :D Nevertheless I'd be glad to share some of the music I love.
¡Sharing a table with people, food and drink is one of the pleasures of life!
