About Me
I am putting my bio as it is exactly displayed on the website of Bosphorus Storyhouse training firm (that's why it is in 3rd person) 😊
Ali Tazegül is a 26-year-old volunteer, traveler, CELTA certified English tutor, and a life-long learner
Having been worked at so many NGOs as a volunteer, Ali has his own soft skills in Youth Work, Global Citizenship, Being a World Citizen, Team Management.
He managed 2 different projects called 'Meet My World' and 'Primary Summer School' in AIESEC between 2018-2019.
He was also the main coordinator of the 'Volunteer Your Future' project in AEGEE-Eskişehir and a team member of Human Resources in the 'Eastern Partnership Project' in AEGEE-Europe between 2019-2020.
Lastly, He is a counselor at Camp Olson YMCA.
Delivered and participated in more than 50 training, workshops, and seminars in his professional career, mainly focusing on the topics of Sustainable Development Goals which were adopted by the United Nations in 2015.
Having been to 20+ countries, his dream is to work globally, while touching people's lives in a positive way.
Ali speaks Turkish, English, meanwhile learning Spanish this year.
He is a massive travel addict and a big fan of basketball.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen every kind of music. It depends on my mood. But my favorite bands are RHCP/MUSE/Radiohead/Arctic Monkeys etc mostly indie rock. Favorite music Can’t Stop RHCP. Movies it is a lot :) I love watching movies and series. I love science-fiction movies and series. Let me share the movies and series that comes my mind while I’m writing this, Interstellar, Inception, In time, The Dark Knight, 3 idiots, Harry Potter, The lord of the rings, Into the Wild etc series; %3, La Casa de papel, The last Ship, Stranger things, Blindspot, Westworld, 13 reasons why, Sherlock, GOT, Legion, Mr Robot etc, Books I love reading books or blogs from travelers one of my favorite is from Mehmet Genc Rotasız Seyyah.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking from one city to another just for to pick up my friends from airport. Also The projects that I have managed was one of the amazing thing I have done. I feel so lucky to know people from all around the world thanks to these projects.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Turkish,English, and how to play basketball. I was teaching children how to play basketball at my basketball club. I can teach you Daily Turkish that will be useful for you and also English for basic conversation. I love learning new things so I’m so open to learn new things from you. Sharing is caring so when I am available I can share my home and all basic things for you and also share my stories and share my knowledge about exchange programs and NGO’s
