Hi :)
My name is Marek, I'm 19 years old, from Brno (Czech Republic). I love travelling, sports and meeting with friends. In 4 months I'm going to do DSD II and my goal is to get C1, so I'm aiming pretty high :D. Next to that I won ticket from EU, so I´m part of their program - #DiscoverEU, that means, i have 30 days to discover Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Main reason is to improve my language skills, because that's what you really need in foreign countries to communicate with people around :). And I also prefer staying in house with friendly atmosphere rather than in hotels.

Interests

I have been playing floorball for 8 years, but then i decided to try a new sport - lacrosse. Now it has been almost one year and I´m loving it.
To that I do calisthenics, listen to music, play video games and meet up with friends.
I also organized a summer camp and few weekend actions, completed course for instructors and volunteered on many actions for children.
What i especially love is travelling. Until this time i usually travelled with my parents, but this year i started on my own.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I won a gold medal on Gothia Innebandy Cup in Göthenburg! This is one of the biggest tournaments in Europe for young floorball players. After that i was in a newspaper, so my childhood dream came true!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can bring you some small gifts from Czechia, such as Moravian wine or czech beer. But there's other things made in our country as well...
And of course i won't come without good mood :)
