About Me

Hello everybody! I'm Barbara, I live in a small town near Como with my family and I really like travelling with just a backpack and a lot of curiosity:) I'm a really open-minded person and I'm always ready for new discoveries. I love meeting new people and cultures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting locals when I travel and I think this is an amazing way to better undestand the world, learn new things, share thoughts and skills and try to erase the common fear of meeting a stranger. The cheapness is also a beautiful thing! ;)

Interests

I love contemplating nature, seeing wild places and study science, but I also love meeting people, going to festivals, sharing moments and help the weakest people doing active things on the territory

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm open to any kind of music that has a meaning, but I can appreciate also some that has not!
I really like classics like Beatles, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, The Police, Eagles, De André but also more recent like Zen Circus, Davide Van De Sfoos, Modena City Rambles, Ratti della sabina, Eugenio in via di Gioia, Ministri, Talco, Giorgio Canali.
My chilhood was based on Articolo 31, Punkreas...

About books... I read a lot, but I can highly recomend David Grossman's Misheu Laruz Ito and Niccolò Ammaniti's Come Dio Comanda.
Authors that I particullary like are Orwell, Calvino, Saramago, Zerocalcare.

I watch movies and series from various generes. I appreciate directors that can make great films with very simple materials and tecniques.
Titles that I love the most are Zabriskie Point, Captain fantastic and The End of the Fucking World. I love also italian actors like Benigni and Troisi.

But all these are just examples, I'm open to new things :)
