About Me
Hi guys I'm Johan, 22 years old here. I would like to show you the magic of my country and my hometown or being able to have a local experience in yours. I consider myself like a guy who is down to earth but also really creative, in fact I'm Industrial Engineer and Management Engineer too and both degrees mix those things.
Little facts about me:
-I lived in Australia (Melbourne) for 1 year.
-I'm gay.
-I have a dog.
-I know how to dance really well latin music (I can't be modest with this).
-I don't do drugs and rarely I drink alcohol.
-I love to try new food but sadly I'm bad with the spicy one (but I wanna try more)
-I think I'm friendly and social even though sometimes those are not something that people relate with engineers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well I have two main reasons why I'm here, the first one it's as a host: one thing that I learned about my country being outside it's that there is a misconception about Colombia and the life here and I wanna change that, I wanna teach you how beautiful it's my country and give you a real local experience that can show you how is the real Colombia.
As a guess I consider that this is a good way to learn more about the world and make friends around the world, have a local experience and learn about the place that I'm in a more real way.
Interests
I'm not a drink person but I love dancing, from a latin party to festivals, I could even dance the happy birthday song. I also love swimming and any activities that have water as a main point, related with sports I also love to jogging and trekking through the mountains and rivers. Every culture exchange it's amazing and I love when I can discover something new about the world, how different the life is in other countries and what new things I can learn about it.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music is basically 50% electronics music when my favorite Djs are Axwell and Ingrosso, Martin Garrix and David Guetta, and other 50% Latin music.
My book are quite nerdy, 80% books about marketing and management and 20% fiction, I just started Game of Thrones books.
Regarding movies, musicals, animations and adventure films are my favorites, sometimes some thrillers or scary.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Humm maybe the most amazing thing that I've ever done it's leaving one year in other country because that opened my mind and made me see how different the things are from country to country.
Teach, Learn, Share
People say that I'm a fake Paisa because I don't sound like all the people here but this is because my family is from many different cities in Colombia, as a result I have an interesting mix in traditions, behavior and even mood, the bright side of this is that I'm known many things about my country and I would love to teach you about it. As a native Spanish speaker I can also help you to improve this language of course I want to learn a little bit about yours. If you have one my interests I would be amazing to have a conversation about them and see what we can learn from each other.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I best thing that I can offer you it's my knowledge about my country in order to have the best cultural exchange of course money too. I think if we get along you can also count with a honest friendship and all the hospitality the I can offer you once you visit my country.
