My name is Ilse (pronounced ale-suh). Most people call me a nerd, including me. I study veterinairy medicine, and in my free time I spend a lot of time watching movies, reading books and making music. Occasionally I go to comic con.

There's waaaay too many things here to like, but I'll try to keep it short.

I like almost every genre of music, but I especially love indie, alternative and rock. Some artists and bands I love are: Nothing But Thieves, Bastille, Alt J, The Script, Years & Years, London Grammar, Two Door Cinema Club, Foals, John Mayer, Ludovico Einaudi, To Kill a King and Radiohead. I love hearing other people's favourite songs, because that can tell a lot about a person.

Same goes for movies, really. I like almost everything, from animation to sci-fi to action comedy. I like Marvel and '80s classics. Some of my favourite movies are Ratatouille, Back to the Future, Ex Machina and Kingsman: The Secret Service.

I read a lot too. Every once in a while I re-read Harry Potter and in the meantime I read pretty much anything I can get my hands on.
