About Me

Hello,

I'm Alanna from Seattle...and currently looking forward to getting out of Seattle for some much needed travels around Portugal and possibly Spain. I've been working at a naturopathic doctor's office and working towards admissions for a master's in teaching for elementary education. I'm a generally social and peaceful person who likes to have fun with whatever I do. I live an overall healthy and active lifestyle. I have many years of great experience living with housemates.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always wanted to couchsurf! I've been a guide for surfers through CS events, but this will be my first time officially signing up and surfing. I've had a great time traveling with WWOOF (work exchange on farms). What I loved most about WWOOF was the cultural exchange--meeting locals and sharing ideas and experiences. I was unable to find preferred WWOOF hosts this trip because my stay will be too short. The existence of couchsurf seems like a great victory for nice people who like people and like to travel. I look forward to meeting and sharing with awesome people.
